Meet Aaron

 

Aaron Short is the Founder, CEO and Wealth Advisor at Geist Family Wealth. The mission at Geist Family Wealth is to help you and your family pursue true wealth by developing custom-tailored solutions and providing long-term strategic advice.

Aaron obtained his undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations from Indiana Wesleyan University. While working full-time during the day to support his young family, Aaron went to night school and earned his law degree from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Prior to Geist Family Wealth, Aaron was a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones. He holds his Accredited Asset Management Specialist and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor certifications.

Born and raised on the southside of Indianapolis, Indiana, Aaron credits his parents for instilling in him the priceless values of Midwest work ethic. With their influence, he believes in the power of faith, the importance of laughter and the responsibility to give back to one’s community.

Aaron and his wife, Sarah, have three children and have called the Geist area their home for over a decade. Their family attends Heartland Church in Fishers. Aaron is also a member of the Indianapolis Sailing Club and is engaged in several civic projects throughout the greater Indianapolis area.
